Hi, I am Vyshnavi Ram Choppa and I am here to tell you about my Life at Zetechno.
I graduated with a B.Tech EEE but always had an inclination towards IT. Therefore I wanted to work in an IT company. So I joined ZeTechno on 2nd Dec 2019. During that time, I was studying Java in Jay Spiders and Anusha told me about the opening at ZeTechno. She shared her life at ZeTechno too. Hence I considered applying here and got through!
Memories on Day 1
I knew Anusha, a ServiceNow Developer beforehand. So, I did not feel completely strange on day 1. Then I met Naveen, ServiceNow Developer and I had already met Mounika during the interview process. Mounika, Naveen and me were like the 3 musketeers. Always seen together.Haha!
Interview process
Archana interviewed me. First, we had a written technical test that measured our theoretical knowledge. I didn’t know about ServiceNow back then but was well acquainted with Java. Archana asked me about Java. Then I had an interview with Sagar, the CEO of Zetechno. The interview with Sagar was more like a casual talk. He has the ability to ease people. I think that interview was the quickest one. Mounika came and shook my hands to congratulate me on getting the job after my results were declared.
Experience with Sagar
He is an inspiration and a good leader. He can gauge people’s caliber. This is how he identified that I can be a good developer. He is an excellent mentor. I was never exposed to ServiceNow before, however, Sagar along with Archana and Srinath taught me the basics. He has made Life at ZeTechno fun for us.
Being a woman in ZeTechno
I am completely comfortable here. There isn’t any gender-based discrimination. Everyone is so welcoming and warm-hearted here Most memorable
First 3 months, I was being trained. Then I was handed a project with Venkat, ServiceNow Developer. He was on an agreement and his agreement had almost come to an end. I had to handle that project alone. It was knowledge management, not something I was trained on but I handled it pretty well with the guidance of senior team. Everyone appreciated it.
ZeTechno is the best experience a fresher can have. If you are in an MNC, you will have to face bench time. Here, I have done 3 projects in a span of 1 and a half years. I love the ambiance too. I am not the kind of person who works in a place of 150+ employees. Here you have your space and you can work at your own pace. It is hectic at times but like Sagar said ” If you join Zetechno, this will be your small home away from home”.
Office to Work-From-Home transition
Initial 1 to 2 months, Work-From-Home (WFH) is heaven. Then, it got really boring without my colleagues. In-office, you have these tiny breaks you go for tea with your colleagues but when it comes to WFH we hardly go out. However, WFH was comfortable for us and not that taxing as other companies have.
We used to go out of the office for dinners and lunches. For every junior in ZeTechno, it’s like college never ended. We eat lunch together, spend an hour chit-chatting. The 5o clock tea breaks. I miss the ambiance and friends.
I would love to go back to the office.
Memories
Secret Santa is the first event that took place after I joined the office. It was so much fun. Sagar took us all to a hotel. We were planning on inviting our family for such an event this year but the inevitable happened.
Another memorable event would be our Friday ritual. A pandit used to come every Friday for pooja before the pandemic. He used to give us prasad. Rajesh used to break the coconut and mix it with sugar and give it to everyone. We used to fight for it, always. Haha!!
